Welcome to Stony Brook University’s Athletic Training Program! Our athletic training program has successfully transitioned to a professional master’s degree program. The initial graduate cohort entered in the summer of 2019. Students who complete the requirements for the Master of Science degree in the Athletic Training program will be eligible to take the Board of Certification (BOC) Exam. We are no longer accepting admission into the undergraduate program. The final baccalaureate degree in athletic training cohort will graduate in 2020.
We are currently accepting applications for the next Master of Science cohort. Given the evolving nature of COVID-19 we have extended the ATCAS verified application deadline to April 15th; classes begin in summer 2020.
