2021 Information Session Dates

Remote Zoom information sessions have been scheduled for one Wednesday at 2:30 pm each month during the fall semester due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Dates are listed below. Please email paul-neil.czujko@stonybrook.edu to RSVP for the next monthly meeting and he will respond and provide attendees with the Zoom link to join the meeting.

Information sessions provide an overview of the pre-requisite requirements for admittance to the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. Participants are given information about the physical therapy program and the profession. If time permits, individuals may receive advisement from a physical therapy faculty member. Please bring a copy of your college transcript(s) for this personal assessment.

HSC

Stony Brook Campus: Information sessions will be held at Stony Brook in the Health Sciences Center (HSC), School of Health Technology and Management (SHTM), room 2-408 (large conference room) unless otherwise noted below, Level 2 at 2:30 pm on the following Wednesdays. Please park in the Stony Brook University Hospital garage (there is a fee), enter through the main hospital lobby, and use the escalator to arrive at the Level 2 destination. No appointment is necessary.

Directions to Stony Brook University  (Stony Brook Campus):

Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE, I-495) (Eastbound from the Queens Midtown Tunnel in Manhattan or the Throgs Neck Bridge or Whitestone Bridge in Queens ) to Exit 62 NORTH: Nicolls Road (Route 97) and travel 8½ miles north on Nicolls Road. The main entrance to Stony Brook University Hospital and the Health Science Center is on the right.  For satellite navigation, use the following address: 101 Nicolls Road, Stony Brook, NY.

Southampton Campus:

Directions: Turn right onto Tuckahoe Road from County Road 39/Sunrise Highway/State Route 27 and, then, turn right into the main entrance of Stony Brook Southampton. Bear left into parking lot and you will see the Library on your right.
