PA Post-Professional: Application Process & Deadlines


The Physician Assistant Post-Professional Master's Program 
is accepting 
applications for only two more admissions cycles. 

This program open to certified Physician Assistants only.

The last two application deadline dates are:

April 1, 2019 for Summer 2019 entry

June 1, 2019 for Fall 2019 entry

(Please Note: This application is for certified PAs only.)

Application supporting documents include:

  • essay
  • three (3) recommendation forms completed and submitted online
  • official transcripts from all post-secondary schools (WES course by course evaluation for international students with foreign transcripts)
  • proof of certification letter from NCCPA (click on SIGN IN at http://www.nccpa.net/ to enter your PERSONAL CERTIFICATION RECORD and request the letter)

International Students: Student must submit course by course evaluation of foreign transcripts of all post-secondary education by World Education Services (WES) that includes a grade point average (GPA).

Please submit all required documents in a timely manner to avoid any delays in processing your application. If you miss a deadline date, you may register for courses as a non-matriculated student. However you will be required to submit a matriculated application for the following term. The application supporting documents should be mailed to the following address:

Students who wish to register as a non-matriculated student should follow the directions below.

For Online Students:

  1. Complete the non-matriculated student application, save it and email it to Diana.Jones@stonybrook.edu

For Onsite Students:

  1. Complete the non-matriculated student application, save it and email it to Diana.Jones@stonybrook.edu
  2. Complete the non-matriculated student immunization form and return it to Student Health Service.
