Nuclear Medicine Technology Program Director
Professor Stanley is currently program director of the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program offered through the Health Science major in the School of Health Technology and Management. After earning an undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University, Mr. Stanley attended a Nuclear Medicine Technology Program offered through the V.A. Medical Center in Northport, N.Y. He has a varied employment background and has worked in the private sector as well as in community and university hospitals in the metropolitan region.
Since 2001, Professor Stanley has served both as a nuclear medicine technologist and clinical coordinator in University Hospital Medical Center. He also serves as a State Health Policy Liason (SHPL), acting as a regional advocate for issues facing the nuclear medicine community. Professor Stanley is a member of the Greater New York Society of Nuclear Medicine Section Council and is certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
