Message from the Dean April 7, 2020

April 7, 2020

Dear Students,

I’m reaching out to follow up to the recent announcement sent by President Bernstein.  As you know, in-person University Commencement on May 22, 2020 has been canceled in order to ensure everyone’s health and safety.  As per President Bernstein, the decision was not an easy one to make, nor does it negate all of your hard work and achievements throughout your academic career.

Read or watch President Bernstein's announcement

At the School of Health Technology and Management we, too, are forgoing any in-person ceremonies.  We have developed a Graduation Task Force to plan on how we can move forward to recognize our graduates and celebrate your achievements.  Once the School has a plan in place, we will immediately reach out to let you know.

During this trying time, difficult decisions such as this one need to be made to keep everyone safe.  We are proud of our graduates and will most certainly find a way to acknowledge your accomplishments.

Regards,

Stacy Jaffee Gropack
Dean and Professor
School of Health Technology and Management
