Stacy Jaffee Gropack Named Dean, School of Health Technology and Management
With more than 30 years of experience in Health Professions Education, Stacy Jaffee Gropack, PhD, has been named Dean of the Stony Brook University School of Health Technology and Management (SHTM). She previously held the position of Dean of the School of Health Professions at Long Island University (LIU) in Brooklyn, NY.
Center for Excellence in Learning & Teaching Outstanding Assessment Award Given to Deborah Zelizer
Congratulations to Dr. Deborah Zelizer on receiving the Outstanding Assessment Award at the Center for Excellence in Learning & Teaching's Celebration of Teaching, held on October 24, 2019. Professor Zelizer is chair of the Department of Health Sciences and program director of the Health Science major in the School of Health Technology and Management at Stony Brook University. She is also an alumna of the School of Social Welfare where she received a master's degree in social work.
