Programs Offered

July 2013:  Until further notice, applications for the Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management have been suspended.

The Advanced Certificate in Health Care Management has an application deadline of November 1, for Spring  start and May 1 for fall start.  Students who are accepted must be matriculated for at least two semesters.

Students who are not already matriculated in the SBU MBA program must not assume that credits/coursework taken for the Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Management can be counted toward an MBA or any other SBU degree.

— Stony Brook University will follow an academic calendar that does not observe any religious holidays and observes few, if any, national holidays.  Always check the HSC calendar carefully or check directly with our department.

The Advanced Certificate can be completed on line or on campus.  Students may also combine both on-line and on-campus courses in order to complete the Advanced Certificate.  The Advanced Certificate is 18 credits.  Students must be matriculated for at least two semesters in order to complete University enrollment requirements.
